A Curtainside truck is a high volume box shaped body with doors at the rear, however these bodies also have curtains on each side which can slide from front to back or vice-versa to enable the vehicle to be loaded or unloaded using a forklift along the full length of the body. This can speed up the loading/unloading process as you don’t have to load in a particular order. Some will also have tail-lifts to further aid in the loading/unloading process.
